VIELEY CLOTH
Crepe weave cotton cloth of good quality shipped to the Near East, made from single and two-fold dyed yarns. Made 84 ends and 80 picks per inch, 30's warp, 20's weft, or 78 ends and 72 picks per inch, 2/40's warp, 2/40's weft. Brocade effects are sometimes woven on the cloth.
